Film Programming

Film will be extremely important to our financial success as well as our position in the community.  Not only will film be the most presented cultural art offered at the Colonial Fox, it will also be a major profit center towards the sustainability of the theatre. The Colonial Fox will present art house, foreign, documentary, and classic films as part of a series, a festival, or a single screening.

The goal is to make the Colonial Fox THE art house screening room in the marketplace. We will strive to present a quality experience for the patrons visiting the theatre to view an old classic or the latest foreign, documentary or art house film.

Live Events

Regardless of what film programming we present, we will be judged primarily by our live events. Live events are the most visible aspect of the theatre’s programming, engaging the community through cooperative relationships and drawing a much larger audience to the theatre than film. The Colonial Fox Theatre will present a mix between local/regional events and shows from national touring artists.
